like we didnt know how to make jello!
-
I make Jello poke cake a few times a year. I bake the cake in a 9x13 inch pan. Pour Jello over the cake(with holes made), refrigerate. For the topping I used 1 small pkg of Jello Instant Vanilla pudding only adding 1 cup of milk, mix well then add 2 cups of Cool Whip. Refrigerate till ready to serve.

Does it HAVE to be whip cream frosting? Or any? :)

@krissyohgeez You can make this recipe your own and use the frosting of your choice.

what does the part with jello taste like???

@Mmelliix3 The JELL-O adds a nice strawberry flavor to the cake. But you can be creative and add any other flavors.

But would your cake be soggy?

@MileyCyrusHMFan4Eva4 Hi MileyCyrusHMFan4Eva4-The cake wouldn’t be soggy, but actually very moist and flavorful due to the JELL-O. The cake stays firm because the gelatin becomes firm when refrigerated (before frosting the cake). The only way the cake would be soggy is by omitting the refrigeration, as you wouldn’t be giving the JELL-O time to set up.
