Showing the Nady Wireless system for guitar. The receiver, transmitter.Pedalboard it is plugged into before going to amp. Also shows my old powered mixing board, guitar rack I built, and few other areas in my studio area.Overall, especillay when considering the low cost of the unit,it performs well, better than i anticipated.Says it works line of sight, but works thru walls and on different house floor levels. No hiss, hum, buzzor anything so far.Doesn't look very durable ,but using common sense,I think it will last me a while.

READ PLEASE:
MANY COMMENTS ARE CONTINUALLY COMING IN ASKING WHERE THIS OR THAT PLUG IN,HOW IT CONNECTS ETC
IN ATTEMPT TO CLARIFY :

RECEIVER-THIS IS PLUGGED INTO AC OUTLET FOR POWER. YOU PLUG A GUITAR CABLE FROM THE RECEIVER TO YOUR GUITAR AMPLIFIER INPUT (WHERE YOU NORMALLY WOULD PLUG YOUR GUITAR INTO YOUR AMP)

TRANSMITTER: THIS GETS CLIPPED OR ATTACHED ONTO YOU OR YOUR GUITAR STRAP.IT IS POWERED BY A 9VOLT BATTERY.A SHORT GUITAR CABLE IS USED TO PLUG THE GUITAR INTO THE TRANSMITTER

YES,YOU CAN USE AFFECT PEDALS BETWEEN THE GUITAR AND AMP AS YOU NORMALLY WOULD DO WITHOUT THE WIRELESS.IN THIS CASE THE RECEIVER SIMPLY IS CONNECTED TO THE BEGINNING OF THE AFFECTS (AFFECT INPUT) BY A GUITAR CABLE INSTEAD OF CONNECTING DIRECTLY TO THE AMP.THE OUT PUT OF THE AFFECTS IS THEN PLUGGED INTO THE AMPLIFIER INOUT WITH A GUITAR CABLE

  • hey man! im planning on going wireless soon. Would you recoomend this for a touring band? is it reliable and do you think it deters the quality signal at all?

  • @liwenchang

    No.

You'll need to pay alot more for one to tour with

  • @Daniel10253 Well with those as well as many or most things, the better ones always cost more money. This one was the most inexpensive unit I have seen so I suppose there are alot better ones out there.Depends on what you need or want I guess

  • @rlta04 oh ok. i just assumed that it would be easier to put it on the pedal board, at the start of the chain. thanks for your reply! would you recommend buying it? my band is looking to go wireless but we dont want to fork out the $400 per unit that sennheiser is asking for!

  • @Daniel10253 Antenna isn't all that big.I never had any issues with it getting in the way.I don't put it on the pedal board though either.I don't know why anyone would really put it there.I always have the anntenna extended all the way so I don't really know the answer to if it needs to be extended all the way,but I'm sure it was designed to be extended all the way.

  • does the massive antenna ever get in the way if you have the receiver on the pedal board? ive read that you need to have it fully extended to work properly. is this true?

  • @TangeClown So you come on here to critique other peoples posts and pretend you are holier than thou.Tell me not to be disrespectful ,then you go on to call me a douchebag cunt? Hypocrit, thats waht you be,You probably are a smelly cunt too but a huge ass hypocrit

  • @rlta04 yeah your cool. he gives you a compliment saying your basement and equipment is so nice he thought it was a home studio, and you call him a moron? yeah have fun being a douchebag. cunt
