@hughesDV ^^;; Good to hear. It is just so troubling when history is taught this way, and it is true in a number of places in the world. History, it can bring about nationalism and over zealous patriotism (Which I don't really like) The major problem in the study of history is the bias found in sources. D: It is a shame that Americans and the west have had communism demonized. ^^ Your videos are informative, helped with IB history, thanks for that. ^^;; But I am a Marxist at heart :D

aww man thank you this really helps out
): Big surprise, this is a VERY biased series. I understand that this for an American History class, but at the same time I think that it is necessary to see things from a broader perspective in the context of America, and its involvement in history. I am not an American, and while I found this series useful, I found it to be incredibly biased, and it almost uses history as a tool for nationalism, which is bad. The Red is not bad. read Marx. ): A useful video series, thank you, but too American.

@oneProtagonist I appreciate your thoughts. This is a test prep video, meaning I am "teaching" the test, besides the kids need to understand how the US defined communism historically, which is obviously biased. I actually have a lesson where the students make both East and West propaganda. Be rest assured, my kids get a pretty broad view of ideology in our everyday conversations. And I have read Marx and understand the struggles of the proletarian, damn, I am one. Best wishes.
