Had his happen in my relativity small city(90k people) here in North Dakota recently. Asian guy won some good money at the black jack table at the bar. Excited he exited the building and fired multiple rounds into the air with his handgun. Made the paper and to be honest it was pretty damn funny, no one was hurt. I think the guy got one hell of a fine though lol.

what? you dont shoot back at celebratory fire. I was there in 2005, we did 3 months of patrols outside the wire and 3 months of tower duty and back again. During tower duty, in one of the tall sniper towers, when Iraq won their soccer game against syria and everywhere there was celebratory fire and everyone was ordered not to shoot back because the people would be shooting straight into the air, unless of course we were shot at directly. There wasn't one report of anyone being shot at that nite
