Orkidea - Unity (Solarstone Pure Mix)

Crowning Orkidea's '20' album is his new '15th Anniversary' mix of 'Unity'. The track that started it all for him, it set an enormous precedent for his production career and was in effect Finland's first trance release. Having been champed by the proverbial cross-section of DJs on its original release (including Sasha, Tong, Oakenfold, Warren, Seaman and numerous others), its elite legacy lives on with his special 15th Anniversary remix of Unity, which expands the track into a jaw-dropping 10+ minute soundscape. We're also including Orkidea's own '15th Anniversary Intro Mix', which encompasses all the epicness of his club mix but with a lush expansive slowly building intro.

Solarstone, as devoted an Orkidea fan as you could ever hope to find, was delighted to turn his remixing hand to one of his all-time favourite tracks, and his 'Pure' mix is, in Orkidea's own words, "one of Solarstone's best ever remixes". Solarstone's 'Pure' trance sound focuses on the raw ingredients of the perfect trance record; groove, melody & emotion delivered with pristine refined production. His remix of 'Unity' has all the hallmarks of that classic Solarstone sound we all know and love.

Fellow Fin Allende deepens proceedings a touch with a more mellow progressive trance mix for those lazy evenings and earlier sets.

This remix was produced recently, and I meant the original verion of that song - it was released in 1999 as far as I remember. That's why I claim that the stuff like that is not produced any more these days.
