Im 12 years old and is a scuba diver and already countered sting rays, and I just wonder why you guys are afraid of a moray eel? They only attack when they feel threatened like other animals :)

I will never go in the water due to this animal and snapping turtles, and sharks...and fish with spines...and, oh fuck it all this shit is just terrifying.

The eel likely saw his own reflection in the lens of the camera and was after what it thought was another eel challenging it. Happened to me all the time back when I was shooting video and pictures... Many of them are pretty tame on the reefs of Cozumel and will let you pet them - silky soft!
