I just bought a 7970, 30 bucks more then the 580 and it can smoke its ass.

@Spralsh i can get the performance of a 580 any day on my 6970 not that hard since amd cards are fairly good at overclocking altho the 6970 isnt known for it i can still get it there

@bmxstreetwill well no shit amd always releases thier cards first, therefore nVidia has a chance to make thiers just a tad better and overprice them but they don't fool me. so of course GTX600 series will kick 7000series ass soon enough never the less AMD cards overclock like a beast so it's easy to get to the performance of an nVidia card. (except the 6970) to many stability issues at high temps while oc'ed lol
