  • does your boat wobble and feel unsafe once you get if up that high? cause ive had my 115 etec doing 51 mph but I feel if I trim up anymore I have no control

  • @SkiDooR1der4liife , I want to say it is borderline at that speed but only when by myself, still within a safe feel concerning control.with another person onboard it is very solid with no wobble.to maintain that speed I have to trim all the way up give or take a hair in either direction depending on water conditions. Hope this helps

  • @adataman ok thanks, ill get a video up soon. whats the fastest youve ever had yours going, like perfect conditions? When i bought the moter the guy tested out some props to see which one preformed the best and he said he got 55 mph out of the 19 pitch but thats like perfect conditions with 5 gallons of fuel. He didnt have a 21 pitch but he said you could get 58mph with the 21 pitch, do you beleive that?

  • @SkiDooR1der4liife , The fastest i ever hit was 54 in perfect conditions. I am running a 19 pitch prop right now. what he is telling you is wrong, going up a pitch theoretically should make the boat travel faster but it will start bogging down. you will loose typically 200rpm per 1 pitch change up causing you to fall below your recommended rpm range to develop your maximum horsepower. Hope this helps.

  • dude thats hauling ass....rooster tail looks awsome

  • @turbomiata007 that is trimmed all the way out as far as it can go. will try to get some videos posted again sometime when I am in the boat alone, that is when i can really push it.

  • how big is this boat your 115-etec is on?

  • I don't have any experience with the E-Tecs, but I have had a 1985 model 70 hp Johnson and a 89 model 115 Evinrude, and I currently own a Johnson Faststrike 150 and i know the OMC motors were the easiest cold starting motors I ever had. Much easier to start than a Merc. And they used wayyy less fuel!

  • @huntthehunters I think he means "baddest" as in most "bad-ass", as in a compliment to the motor.

  • E-Tecs are the baddest outboards on the planet. And I own a Suzuki a Johnson and a yami. Just how it worked out.

  • I have a Forbina Bambina with Yamaha motor, 20 hp, ;D it ''flyes'' very good :D

  • THe new generation of people don't know what wide open means, it first comes from the steam age, widen the valve opening on the steam train engine ,which I love. I am 53 and missed the steam age but was around the old guys, heavy equiptment, and also had all kinds of junk outboards, open it the old guys would say.

  • evinrudes are shit get a mercury or a honda

  • Hey Guys, what do u think, I bought a Eolo 590 motor boat which is around 780 kg just the body, I want to put on a 115HP outboard motor.
