Yes, you can get right up to the border. Somewhere I may still have the photograph of me with my hands in the air with some terrified teenager sticking a AK47 in my back. I think I still have photos of another solider escorting me back.

In my film of the Russian - Polish border you can see the border markings.

This is not border! In Piaski you cant see border line even from a distance.

@BobbytheCanadiankid This is a few hundred metres from the border - I have never seen Russian guards there. In Soviet times you could see border guards on the other side no problem but not today. Borders in Europe are not guarded like they used to be! I have a lot of films from the former DDR border that may interest you.

@BobbytheCanadiankid Unfortunately I don't know where it is! It was a Polish soldier but he was clearly alone and frightened which made him dangerous!

can I see the Baltic border film ? I am very fascinating in any border docmentary or film ! Okay , in that video , you said the Russian border is up ahead, right ? How many feet again ? Were there any Russian boder guards at all ? Please clarify it for me , ok ? It's so cool that you are Polish because Poland had suffered a lot by the Germans and the Russians ! How long have you been living in England ? Are you a British Citizen ? Manchester United rocks !

@BobbytheCanadiankid The border fence is actually in the forest and can't be seen here. However I have another film called the Baltic border where it can be seen quite clearly. I have also got lots of films from inside Russia. I am not afraid in the slightest, only I had someone with me who was not physically up to walking to the border. I am now staying in the UK and am British - but also have a home in Poland!
