Silent Hill HD Collection -- walkthrough with developer commentary

Silent Hill 2 and 3 are easily two of the best entries in the Silent Hill series, so we're excited to see what kinds of improvements have been made to both games since their respective last-gen releases so long ago. To highlight the overhaul that these two quintessential survival horror games have received, senior associate producer Tom Hulett walks us through the beginning of Silent Hill 3, pointing out what's new along the way.

One question...WHY HD? who the hell thought Silent Hill with new voice acting and "HD graphics" would be a good idea? Every one loved Heather because even though she was only 17, she was rather spunky and very mature sounding...the new Heather sounds....sexy.

Well that's pretty much what you did. At least other HD Collections like the Metal Gear Solid collection actually looked HD and had great extra content in them. Next time take a hint from that.

If you are wondering why it doesn't look HD, it's only slightly more better looking. But if you look at Classic SH3 and HD collection you will notice a lot more detail in items, backgrounds, and settings.

Hardly any difference at all though Heather has much longer and thinner legs and she walks much louder
