I read the book....I started crying she put him on the burners when he was in trouble and made him eat scraps and he threw them up and she made him eat his own puke it's so sad :(

@beri525 Same here. I'm really trying to piece that together. He even recalled his mother crying out of happiness because of how good her family was... But in the end, she practically obliterated it... I have to be quite damn honest. Maybe something happened to her brain or some sort. That's really the only thing that makes sense or either she got possessed by an evil spirit. An person changing from practically an saint into someone that's in my opinion more vile than Ted Bundy is unreal for me.
