  • I love it because, in my Film&Fiction class my teacher kept boasting about how Charlie did this to mess with everyone pressuring him to make the Little Tramp speak, and how no one was supposed to understand it. But I get the story, from what the cuffs said and his body language.

  • @Murrtalica yea and he knew what the words meant but nobody else does you can tell by the way he reapets lines of his made up language

  • The last verse is missing. Chaplin cut it out when he reissued it in the 50s. Big mistake.
