Hello,
This product does not work on aluminum directly. We carry coatings that go on just about any type of material. For instance, the steel coating has real bits of iron and steel in the coating, so you can then use a rusting agent after the coating is applied. This is similar to what they do for movie studios props. You can take a light pvc pipe and make it look like a rusty metal one.

I am doing a sculpture project with large aluminum castings. Will your product work with aluminum? If so, what kind of finishing do you suggest for the metal before I apply your product?
