Managed to see them this last weekend at Cropredy.....don't let this clip fool you....they were stunning, at the top of their game, rocked the field and made many new converts. If you get the chance to see them live, take it with both hands. You can thank me later.....

Not sure why the host needed to compare them to anyone---fabulous band, one of the most distinctive and original ever. Love them a LOT. Long live Horslips!

Pat Kenny needs a new researcher who knows what their talking about. Horselips bigger than Rory Gallagher!!!! catch yerself on. By the sound of the reformed Horselips they need a bit more practise and I'm so glad I gave their recent gig in the Waterfront, Belfast a miss. Money well saved. But I'll still listen to the vinyl.

I saw Horslips as supporting act to Nazareth in the 70ies. They were great but come on: greater than Rory Gallagher? - there are two musicians here in Germany when spoken of people turn their heads and get goosebumps: Rory Gallagher and Ritchie Blackmore. Among us old farts these are the two Iconic Musicians as far as Rock-/Blues Music is concerned.

Gawd the sound was atrocious! The lads were big in the folk rock genre only - should never be mentioned against the names of pop / progressive rock types like Rory or Thin Lizzy
