Marcus Thornton, "Mr. Georgia Basketball" & "Parade All-American", led his Westlake team (30-3) to a 73-67 overtime victory against Central Gwinnett High School (29-3) in the Georgia AAAAA State Championship Semi Final. Marcus scored 24 points, 18 rebounds, 4 blocked shots and went 10 for 12 from the free throw line. Marcus 24 points, 12 rebounds, 3.5 blocks 3 assists and 1.5 steals per game his senior season. He is a 2010 Clemson University basketball commit.
