Thermaltake BlacX SATA to USB Hard Drive Dock

The hard drive is placed on top of the adapter, facing its connectors down. After having it slided into the docking station, the user instantly gains access to its full contents.

hi,can anyone tell me the difference between sitting the hdd in the pc case and in the dock.does the hdd get better cooling in the case than in the dock. if so, how long can i have the hdd on in the dock? im a little concerned about a overheating problem and cause damage to the hdd. thanks!
