"Last Time For Everything was pretty much written by Marty. I came up with the ending leading into distortion idea. Albini came up with the idea of running the mix into a standard cassette deck and gradually overloading the input levels. and then recording it back in pieces onto the two inch tape, the whole fade was done with long crossfades achieved by razorblading the tape and and manually assembling the different versions. This process took longer than the tracking of any individual song."

I went to a zao concert like 10 years ago and got a barr stool smashed over my face in the pitt while this song was playing. I got up and kept moshin. Had to get my front teeth reset because they were loose and like fifty stitches in my lip. I love zao!!!
