Back in the day of 2002, Microsoft acquired Rareware from Nintendo. To commemorate the move, this video featuring a cast of Rareware mascots paved the road ahead (and gave us a look at the infamous cartoon-style Joanna Dark).

  • @hellomoto75 dude, goldeneye and perfect dark revolutionized the fps genre, and you can take off autoaim, look at the year it came out and compare it with modern fps'

its just like saying muhammad ali wasnt a good fighter

  • Let's be honest here. Jet Force Gemini, Banjo Kazooie and the Donkey Kong Country series' were the only good things to come from Rare.

Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were AWFUL (generic and auto aim up the ass) and Conker was mediocre and had "humor" on par with family guy. Blast Corps, DK64 and Diddy Kong Racing were pretty bland too. The rest of their games are pure shovelware.

  • what is banjo saying?

  • 0:25 wow are you serious banjo saying why the hell god damn its a childrens game!!!

  • Who's this guy? Conker, you drunk fuck ya met him in Diddy Kong Racing.

  • @jmobtrs XDDDMicroSucksXDDD,I'm sorry,it just sound so funnr,but you're right,Microsoft fucked up RareWare

  • This is what Banjo should have been like instead of that blocky piece of shit he is in Nuts N' Bolts! Sort it out Rare! Proper old school Banjo Kazooie please! He looks awesome here!

  • Nintendo - "We were in this together... and then you were gone... now this evil rises (flashes to a picture of Nintendos stock).. and Rareware.. has to come back"

Rare - "What if it doesn't exist anymore?"

Nintendo - "They must (flashes to a picture of Nintendos dropping stock)... they must.."

  • And this is where Microsoft and Rare downfalls. The Rare we used to know(RareWare) is long gone.
