Signs of a major 2012 fallout emerge in a coastal meeting

The first real sign of a major pre- 2012 fallout. For the first time agriculture minister William Ruto is declaring that the country missed a golden chance when it failed to elect Uhuru Kenyatta as president in 2002. Ruto accused a group he called the old men of frustrating Uhurus candidature. the statement came as a cross section of leaders blasted the new group for allegedly seeking to divide the country along tribal lines.
