Also remember that Kevin Rudd promised faster Broadband to Australia but the filters will slow it by a massive 80% so they either get rid of filters or scrap the Broadband plan

No iiNet and Telstra refuse to take part in live pilot because of Customer Complaints.. I don't know who is taking part but probably small telco's.. Big companies have brains..

well since the last time i made that comment the trials have been completed, iiNet refused to take part after the blacklist was leaked, showing how much the govt. was planning to screw us over while claiming it was 'for the children' although Optus did step in for a limited version of the trial, the rest were small time business ISPs (except for iPrimus, but who really cares about them)

And surprise surprise, Conroy is still yet to reveal the results of the trial :p

It said on wikipedia that 9 isp's are taking part but have an option to opt out of trials(which will be everyone).
Also the reason conroy is still yet to reveal is because he is trying everything so he can the filter to work.. Also the Australian government tried to stop bittorrents with the filter, March 2009 they said the filters wouldn't effect bittorrents, that's when they should of say the filter's are scraped.. This filter will NOT stop illegal content..

This filter will block stuff for children? Is the whole of Australia 8 years old and under? I may be 13 but if parent's want to keep there children safe INSTALL A HOME LEVEL FILTER!
The internet here is slow and over priced so this filter isn't gonna help with Kevin Rudd's Nation Wide Fast Broadband thing..
