BIOGRAPHY
Edward John is an exceptional artist and musician who has dedicated his life to spreading the word of the Gospel. He has inspired and touched people around the world through music, ministry and television.

Edward John was born in Oslo, Norway to Scottish/Norwegian parents and excelled as a sportsman in his youth; he was one of Norways top junior ski-jumpers and was considered a major soccer talent. At age 16, Edward John moved to the USA to study and pursue his passion for skiing and soccer. After four years studying TV and film productions at Oral Roberts University in Tulsa/Oklahoma on a sports scholarship, he went on to play semi-professional soccer for the Tulsa Roughnecks in the American Soccer League.

One day, while on the field playing soccer, Edward John heard a loud voice saying: "Are you going to run after this ball for the rest of your life, or are you going to run after me like you run after that ball?" A clear call from God, Edward John instantly knew that he should dedicate his life to God, and he made a major decision to lay down his promising sports career in order to pursue his call.

In his childhood, Edward Johns mother had taught him how to worship God through music, thus for Edward John it became natural to write songs and use music to convey the message of God. He recorded his first album, set up Freesound Records, a family owned and operated record label which managed to sell approximately 20.000 records, self distributing them from his home garage in Mesquite,TX! Edward Johns radio singles became among the most requested songs at Christian radio stations in the USA, and he appeared on many Christian TV shows and events.

The music has taken Edward John to places he never imagined he would ever visit, and he has preached the Word of God and performed his music in many places all around the world.

Since 2001, Edward John has been a TV presenter for God TV, Great Britains show "Scene Dock" an MTV style show that plays the best of Christian music that reaches over 200 nations and 250 million viewers globally. Now launching on the PAX network in the USA, Edward John will reach even more people through his engagement with the God TV.

He started a bible study called "Dream Visions" which has spread into 5 nations, and is now developed into a TV concept. The pilot for the show was filmed and produced autumn 2005 and featured an exclusive meeting with country legend Randy Travis. The pilot "Dreamvisions" (now renamed "The Chase") was in 2006 awarded the "peoples Choice Award" at the NRB convention in Grapevine, TX.

Edward John recorded his second album with one of Norways leading pop music producers Bjørn Erik Pedersen, and the album entitled "Find Me Guilty" was released in Norway and Sweden in 2005 to much public attention. A warm and heartfelt album with great pop songs within the field of Christian contemporary music, Edward shows his dedication to God and to life with passion, integrity and love.

In 2005, Edward has been busy holding in concerts in Norway and Sweden, including touring Norway in October as guest artist on Fashion Awards. Guest appearances and hosted other major secular event such as Miss Norway, Mr. Europe and Battle of the Bands, etc He has performed internationally in Austria, USA and Indonesia, and he has also attended different Christian events as part of his engagement as TV presenter for God TV. In December 2005, Edward was invited by Radio&Records USs largest radio syndication to perform a showcase at their Christian Summit in Nashville, TN.
VISION
Our vision is that Edward John will make a strong impact on the US market by reaching as many people as possible with his "calling" through music, speaking and television.


BACKGROUND
We believe Edwards music has great potential in the USA.

In 2000 Edward released and sold 20.000 units of his first album "What If" in the USA nothing but a miraculous achievement considering that he at the time did neither have distribution nor proper marketing resources. Still, he had three singles charting on major Christian radio stations, and he appeared on major Christian shows and events.

In 2003 Edward joined the Nicky Cruz Ministries as Director of Operations and arranged TRUCE events in the Scandinavian markets.

In 2004 Freesound Records was established as a company in Norway, and the company released and promoted Edwards second album "Find Me Guilty" in Norway and Sweden in 2004/2005. His singles charted on the radio lists, and Edward received extensive coverage in the press and media. Considering the fact that the Scandinavian Christian market is marginal, and Christian artists usually receive no coverage, Edward has made a significant impact for himself on the Scandinavian market.

We have always believed that the Scandinavian market has been a mean to a bigger end, and that Edwards place is actually global of size.
