  • this is at least a 1984 on up model becuse its got the feet on the grill and the hole that was in the center is filled in.

  • @torythefanman Yes, I had assumed that, I've always tried to find an early-mid 70s Lakewood with the squared off bladeset, but so far no luck.

  • glad you like it. my family founded and ran Lakewood. if you paid $10 for it, you paid about what the fan sold for new....

  • So you must have alot of Lakewoods then right?

  • @thecity552 yes they are pretty hard to find. i myself am still trying to find one.

  • My 2nd gen has a really big diffrence between medium and low. The high and Medium speeds on mine are a little faster but the low speed is still very quiet and gentle like the low speed on this one.

  • Was it the dean's office at the school you went to?

  • yup, compared to today's shitty blade design!

one time one of the newer fans fell off, grabbed for the handle, and the BLADE ACTUALLY BROKE OFF!!!!!!!

    i have seen a 3G lakewood at a dean's office!!
