"This video, allows us to see electricity being transformed into mechanics. making the balls move up so they can fall back down and replace itself. To do this, the energy is transformed into a sideways motion by means of a series of simple levies made with wooden discs. You can see that when the ball reaches the top the potential energy is maxed for the ball. It's kinda like the Panama Canal, it rises and joins with the next level. The previous ball after it has risen all the way falls to the side and sits until it is hit by another ball, putting it back into the cycle again.

Desde el punto de vista de la finalidad, es verdad.
Aquí hay un motor que provoca un movimiento giratorio que luego de transforma en lineal por medio del sencillo sistema de levas que se observa.
