Runescape Christmas Event 2010

The Runescape Christmas Event 2010 is here! The event is called: O Little Town of Daemonheim. The event takes place in Daemonheim, but can be also be accessed by visiting the Christmas wardrobes in Lumbridge, Varrock, Falador, and Draynor Village.

Part 1: The first part of the dungeon is done by tapping the icicles in the order the switch shows. Do this three times and you will be able to enter the next room.

Part 2: The second part is similar the game "Red-light, green-light". When you see the box in the top-left corner of your screen turn green, progress towards the statue, by hiding behind the snow banks. But, when the light turns red, make sure you are not in open sight, or you will have to restart.

Part 3: The third part you must pick up the trinket on the ground at the entrance of the dungeon. Then you must turn into a seal and navigate across the ice without falling in the water.

Part 4: The fourth part you must step through the portals in a certain order. (I just guessed and tried multiple portals, as you can see I failed a couple of times).

Part 5: The fifth and final part to the dungeon (and the event), you must try and catch Salty the crab. To do so, when the crabs pop up, you must try and fish for the crab with the santa hat, but you will not succeed the first time. Only when the bar is nearly finished, will you catch Salty with the bucket.

Afterwards you can mess around at the "Heimland Games", where those who have finished the event can partake in snowball wars, seal sliding, building snowmen, and along with meeting some popular fremennik characters in festive gear.




The rewards:
Golden Cracker- can be opened with another player to get a Golden Hammer, allowing the user to do two new emotes. (Jagex won the 2009 and 2010 Golden Joystick awards!)
Salty Claws Hat- can be worn as and an emote can be used.
Seal of Approval- emote in which the user turns into a seal and claps its flippers together.
Heimland Games Souvenir- emote "Snowsplosion" is used.
