Here is a demo of the BOSS CE-3 chorus. This is a Made In Japan Black Label version made in November 1982

is this pedal a 9v or 12v ?? Because i've read both..... :(

@footudotnet The old ones are 12v aca adaptor but if used in a daisy chain it defeats that voltage drop in the pedal and works off 9v and 9v batteries work great to

@PanduGus in stereo no I haven't as of yet but in mono I have tried it and it doesn't really sound very different in mode 1 but in mode 2 it is only wet signal so can get some strange vibrato

Yep, no bass, shrill high end, just like I remember them being. 1:20 PMSL just such a shitty chorus pedal and that song really shows so clearly how bad they are.

Its funny that you say that cos while they're are better chorus sound, everything I've tried sucks in comparison (Guyatone MC3, BOSS CH-1, Ibanez CF7)

Its an 80's chorus pedal with lots of colour and definition unlike many on the market that have no depth or character at all.. You want more bass then u have to turn up the bass on your amp or EQ

only prob with this pedal, is I can never see the led! I may have to remove that middle knob black part... I like the pedal a lot. or i can move it all the way to the right side of my board so I can get an angle view.

I love this chorus, I have one green label, but has a big mistake in design, if I don't stand up over him, is impossible to see the light, the middle knob is in awful position. Still is a excelent chorus.
