In a housing estate in the small town of Batu Pahat in the southern Malaysian state of Johor, a yellow canopy juts out of one of the row of terrace houses. Usually such canopies are signs of a wedding or a funeral, except that this exciting event is neither. Instead it is the opening of Dharmapala Setrap's Chapel, Southern Jewel. The chapel was inspired by H.E. Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, who had brought this powerful Dharmapala of the 600 year old illustrious Gaden Shartse Monastery to Malaysia. Setrap himself has a strong connection with this region. Firstly, he is the emanation of Amitabha Buddha, with whom a lot of people in this country have strong affinity. His sandalwood cudgel is also said to came from the forests of Malaya. Therefore, it is only natural that Setrap would come to Malaysia and benefit many people in this region.

  • This chapel was opened by a group of people who propriated Setrap's help and got results. They had no experience of running any centers or chapels, but they did it anyway and got this. therefore, as long as long as we put enough effort, we will be able to achieve what we want.

  • Thankyou Rinpoche

  • I have not heard much from the KSJC team for a while. Wonder how they are doing? Hope all is well with them and everything is going smoothly.

  • I heard that the Batu Pahat chapel is going to move closer to JB area but I am not sure where it is yet and things are not finalized but I hope it does. I hope Lord Setrap's mandala of protection will spread far and wide and bring many to believe in the Buddhas and thus bring many to the Dharma,

  • May Setrap's Chapel building materialize soon.

  • Kechara Paradise just had a roadshow in JB's Grand Paragon and many members and friends of KSJC have come to help out there. May Setrap's Chapel building materialize soon from the devotion of these students.

  • Wow! Kechara Southern Jewel is chapel to Lord Setrap. May the merits accrued from clearing obstacles of many through their connection with Lord Setrap clear the obstacles of TKL. I personally hope a bigger and more beneficial materialize in the south.

  • Yah, I believe more and more people will benefited from Lord Setrap, plus Johor is very near to Singapore, and may the teaching also spread to Singapore.......and also thanks to Kechara In Motion by producing all these nice video.....

  • Students of Rinpoche who worked so tirelessly to bring the Practice of Lord Setrap to the Southern Region should be commended indeed.

  • I'm so happy to see Lord Setrap has spread over in malaysia, and now to the south....Wow, impressive...may more and more people and go near to Lord Setrap and get his blessing....OM MAHA YAKCHA TSA SOHA./......

  • Wow... I am totally impressed with the welcoming of Rinpoche, with lions dance and how the people all holding flowers with folded palms.

The members of Kechara Southern Jewel, liaisons and Kechara House really works hard to set up this Lord Setrap chapel. They have great merits for helping to expend Rinpoche's teachings to the people in the southern region and bring benefits to many.

  • Yah, I'm sure Lord Setrap will benefit alot fo people in the South plus Lord Setrap is a emanation of Amitabha, Really holy and highly bless......
