Italian courts dealt with a massacre, I have no problem to deal with individual cases and bring them to justice, no problem, Poland did that to Russian gov.

But, try to blame current Greek situation on lack of ww2 compensations, or use reparation on a "new deal" with EU today is just wrong.

in June GR have new election, history is made, I believe you will be out of euro soon after. Then it really gets interesting to watch, which way will Greece go, free market or socialism ?

They tried and have been trying for the past decades. First Germany was unable to pay then,they simply started avoiding the subject. Recently they even sent the Italian victims at court for mentioning that money. As long as they refuse to apologise and/or pay the situation is worsening. The Greek towns destroyed by the Germans during WWII voted mostly that Nazi party. See what happens?

BUT, those issues, Greek politicians should've resolved after the ww2 in 40 and 50s. To open dicusion in 2012 about ww2 reparations, it's like "pandora's box", just look at Poland, or baltic states or Czechs, or half of Europe. I believe, you make situation, and ground for new conflicts in Europe. No one wants that, world have to put 1945 behind and move on.

First. moment country give jurisdiction to EU, it surrender it's sovereignty, it is not free, Freedom means you have a rights guarantee in constitution, democracy means I can vote and take your rights or property away from you, just by majority of the vote. Look at Hollande in France, he wants 75% income tax, that is not freedom that is tyranny, also in a free country, you have honest money, Euro is a fiat money, means they can just print it, that is dishonest, form of theft.

So according to you the EU isn't consisted of free countries?I don't understand you.You didn't really read what I wrote,you just repeat the same thing.Anyway, 1st of all you have to understand that the WWII victims have the right to seek their rights whether you like it or not. 2nd, Greece CAN'T declare bankruptsy or the banks will start confiscating Greek assets e.g. gold,rights to ports or even islands as some German politicians boldly suggested.That's unacceptable for Greeks,end of story

in democracy people have a right to vote, that's all. I do not want ANY country to go bankrupt, but fortunately Greece is bankrupt already. Greece has to liquidate it's dept, other wise Greece will not grow. NEVER. You own too much money, those banks should never give you so much money. Now all you have left is a liquidation of dept. Then you have to create new drahma, and start fresh.

Germany will not give you anything, just accept it!

In a democracy people have their rights.A basic right is to live without being threatened and/or harmed. Noone is saying about starting a war but it's unacceptable not to contribute in rebuilding what you destroyed.And since Germany never could rebuild a single village they destroyed, at least an apology and support towards united EU would be enough. Instead they just prefer insulting all the Southern EU countries.I also bet if you had your kid in Greece you wouldn't want the country to bankrupt
