the fight to keep bay beach waterfront lands public
On Monday January 25 the town of Fort Erie council is having aplanning meeting that is a step toward passing a bylaw that will allowthe
Mollinaro group to build a 12 storey condominium on the lakefrontat the
Bay Beach Waterfront Park . After completion the land would beturned
over to the condominium corporation for fre...e.... Also the town hasvoted
to pay $55,000 for the environmental assessment which is usuallythe
responsibility of the developer. The property is worth well over
$3million, were talking about our money, the taxpayers money.
TheDeveloper has no risk. What a sweet deal. The condo complex
means:reduced access, less parking, and less public park area. It does
