As an American I don't understand why some cable channel (other than soapnet) can't purchase rights and just show the original, it's so very good and I have very little interest in seeing an American remake, watch, in the remake Erica'll be blond, and not Jewish, and just all wrong ...sorry my Erica Strange is played by Erin Karplunk and nobody else.

I recently knew they were going to make a UK and a US remake!! WTF?! WHY? It's great as it is. Bullshit!! I dont see them doing remakes of US shows in Canada or anywhere! I dont get it. Stupid and unfair to the original show which I am a big fan of and will stick to.
