Totally agree with what exists on this comment page so far and surprised and depressed that this video has only 536 views plus 1. They skirted on the fringes of real talent and they had it too. They had far more talent than some bands that crossed over to the FM airwaves. Damn. Double damn!
It is somewhat astonishing to hear how clear, inventive, fresh and original this music still sounds today. You can hear the connection with the Beatles and Brian Epstein in so much of the Cyrkle's output. What a long journey this band took off on, from their formation of the "Rhondells" at Lafayette College in Easton , Pennsylvania in 1961 through their stint at Atlantic City and notice by Nat Weiss, to the attention of Brian Epstein and the Beatles at New York in 1965 (along with Paul Simon).
