I think there are probably varying degrees of mer-people (if they even exist now). The deeper you go underwater, the less and less they look human due to the extreme environment they must survive in. and they would probably lay eggs to reproduce. They would probably hide from humans, like what most animals do around people, and like most people do around threatening animals. Especially after what they've seen us do to other sea creatures. that just makes sense to me. and probably no super powers
@VampireLord66 you got a problem with texans boy. despite how were texans, we live close to the sea, as you can see on the globe. and we texans have learned the very ways of trust. hell the people that once lived here ages ago are the same type of people that built this country. now despite how we live near the sea. im not that much of a sea person and i know that if any such creatue as mermaids exsisted. they couldnt be trusted.
