John Mayer's Neon Cover - Full version

Instead of just the verse, I tried the whole song with the singing part too (sorry about that everyone).

Made a few mistakes here and there so it's not perfect. My huge-necked nylon guitar makes it even harder to play this.

how are you alternating your right thumb and index finger?

Basically the pattern is:

Thumb on the Low-E string (now a C), then index on D, thumb on G and index on B. The thumb always goes downward sand index upwards.

There are some variations to this pattern, pay attention to them (listen!) and play them in a way you feel comfortable. If you have any more questions, fire away!

the huge neck nylon makes it harder but the nylon strings would also make it a bit easier in my opinion, I compliment you on the singing along with it though, that's tough

Actually they are easier to press but more difficult to sound when slapping.

Hey gr8 guitar playing!

ive been trying to learn this song for the last 2 weeks and i dont have a clue on the picking pattern for the bit just after the intro and the chorus, was waundering if you could just write down the strings that your picking in order?! so '1' is the bottom string and '6' would be the top :D
