I really enjoy Area 88's old style music and the nostalgia feeling it holds. It's fast becoming forgotten in the wave of anime fanservice and gimmicks, but it really is a very good representation of anime at its best. I definitely cried more than once during the OVA, especially during this ending theme. Thank you very much for uploading this ^_^

One of my favorite ending themes...

Other than this anime the only ant-war anime that come close are Grave of the Fireflies, Now and Then Here and There, and Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket.

Let's not forget the classics now...!

Most of the song sounds great. But why does it suddenly start sounding like Indian music towards the end? I'm not saying its a bad thing, but it kind a spoils it for me since this song is suposedly supposed to induce drama and sadness.
