  • Nah, not 25 to 30 kts based on the whitecaps you can see. Probably closer to 18.

  • I live in Easter part on Venezuela with winds of 8 to 15 knots. Do you think it will be fine in this area.?

  • is the rudder pin will break in strong wind situation? pls show the vid how to fit it if the rudder pin break & rudder line

  • Unless I am wrong I now own THIS exact Ai. To my knowledge it is the only Blue Hull in existance. I have dreamed of this Yak since I first layed my eyes on it. What a great vessel.

  • You're talking about Greg Ketterman's design here. If it were supposed to be better, he would have made it that way. The Kettermans have done more for sailboat design than everyone in the last 5,000 years combined. If you can make it better, jump on it.

  • Yup, that's the man.

  • You are right. They do not come in blue. This was an early prototype.

I believe the GPS said 7.3 knots.

  • It's blue!! Didn't think you could get them in blue. Also cannot read the GPS on your wrist in the video.... what does it say??

  • I doubt he paid for it in the usual sense. Unless I'm mistaken, this is the same Greg Ketterman who invented the Mirage Drive, designed the Trifoiler, etc.

  • Righting hydrofoils on the amas and moar sail would only make this boat better!
