Brownian motion demonstrates that molecules exist. To observe Brownian motion you can mix a bit of milk, water and food coloring and a 400X magnification microscope. If you want to get serious and perform measurements, i.e. follow particles, you should use 1 micron latex spheres. Mix a bit of spheres, with water and voila.
