@L8foradate PLEASE STOP stop praising this book!!! FACT: Stockett says her fictional character, "Aibileen Clark," a middle-aged black maid with a gold tooth and a deceased son, is NOT based on Ablene Cooper, a middle-aged black maid with a gold tooth and a deceased son, who has worked for Stockett's brother for the past dozen years.
She lied to the REAL Ablene about respecting her privacy.
The author's OWN BROTHER is taking the side of THE REAL ABLENE!! Please SPREAD THIS NEWS
