The production style of this video makes it seem like this "Mark-Maris" company used to make filmstrips or slide presentations and simply transferred one of their older presentations to video, trying to jazz it up a bit by simply putting crossfades between the slides. Some of the photos have that vintage Ektachrome feel to it. The text on the text slides is also done the old-fashioned way: by applying dry-transfer letters to board and photographing it. Notice that letters are out of alignment.

@Alliefondo LOL! Exactly! It's like they went out of their way to present the subject in the most disturbing way possible. It all feels so dirty, like you're looking in on a world of abusive orderlies and disinterested nurses that will leave you to drown in cold tomato soup.

Oh...my...God...that last shot had me laughing out loud while my stomach was churning...WTF is up with that??? ?? I understand low budget, but they couldn't have picked a LIVE subject? Were they hoping no one would notice? Or was it intentional?
There were other things, too, like what 'positive comments' should servers be making to patients? Who is really that upset about receiving 'too much' food? Are they possibly overstating the importance of the 'garnish'? Just saying..
The first half of the opening theme sounds like a music cue from a John Hughes film.

@goldenmoleful I actually like the one with less food- the less the better with this cuisine I think.

@cutteraddiction Man I have no idea. I lifted it from a storage closet in a hospital cafeteria I worked in about fifteen years ago- the tape label was blank, I just lucked out.
