2011金馬創投會議花絮 FTPP 2011 Highlights

「類型多元、質量俱佳」，2011金馬創投會議在華語電影市場蓬勃的樂觀氣氛中閉幕，最受矚目百萬首獎，由知名導演易智言首次挑戰動畫長片的《廢棄之城》奪下：多位新銳導­­­演，則分獲總金額高達340萬的「十全十美」後製獎項補助。25個入選案代表，與73家投資方，在三天議程中順利完成高達523場媒合會議，和去年相比67%的驚人成­長­，­反映了華語電影的活絡。許多備受期待的企畫案，更是預約滿檔，投資方紛紛要求加場。

金馬創投評審表示，今年入選作品題材、類型、創意上都愈見多樣化，著實令人耳目一新，尤其動畫部份，五部影片風格各異、質量俱精，展現了華語動漫影片深厚潛力，並揭示未來­­­發展趨勢。評審陳果鼓勵年輕導演，把握創投契機，多與投資者和其他創作者切磋，磨鍊自己的作品。評審王小帥更高度肯定金馬創投海納百川的包容多元，為優質華語電影的美­好­搖­籃。

With the current boom of the Chinese-language films, the Golden Horse Film & TV Film Project Promotion (FTPP) has closed on an optimistic note of growing diversity, quality, and quantity. The coveted million-dollar Grand Prize went to celebrated director Yi Chin-Yen's first attempt at feature-length animated film, City of the Lost Things. The ten post-production awards, totaling NT$3.4 million, were shared among several promising young directors. The three-day course saw 523 matchmaking meetings carried out between 25 film projects and 73 investors, representing 67% growth compared with the previous year, attesting to the vibrant vitality of the Chinese-language cinema scene. Quite a few much-anticipated projects were greeted with enthusiasm from the investors, and extra sessions were held as per request.

The FTPP jury expressed their delight at the increasing diversity seen in the subject, genre, and creativity of the film projects this year. The five animation projects, in particular, show promising development for Chinese-language animation in the future with the sheer quality and quantity they display. Jury member Fruit Chan encouraged the young directors to take this opportunity to further refine their works through interaction and exchange with the investors and other filmmakers. Another jury member Wang Xiaoshuai highly commended the wide scope and diverse range of the Golden Horse FTPP, which will no doubt keep bringing more high-quality Chinese-language films into the world in the future.
