Vipers are awesome until you drive in one for more than an hour. My whole body was sore after driving for two hours to Jersey from Long Island. It was the most uncomfortable car I've ever been in. I drove my Corvette from L.I to Vegas & back again with no problem at all. I'm looking foward to the same trip again next winter. I also averaged 27 mpg that trip but, I was getting over 30 on the highway. Corvette's are super fast, comfortable, get great mpg & the insurance is inexpensive.

I did the same thing and got a job at 15and I saved until my junior year and I bought a 2001 bright red immaculate mustang gt, yet everyone at my high school said "it must be nice when parents buy you a nice ass car" little did they know I paid with my own sweat for it :D now I'm in college and the next car I'm working towards is a C5 Z06 which I will hopefully have in a year or 2

I love vettes. But what i like about your vette is.That it is a hardtop.That makes it rare. Almost every vette you see is a targa or convertable.

@camirocz i'm not taking sides but what makes u think that 18 yr old doesnt have a camaro ss. I got a job at 16 and bought a camaro and at 18 i got a better job and purchased a second car which is a 94 vette and now at age 20 i still have both of those cars plus a 02 z06 with a magnuson supercharger. yong people can have good jobs and buy nice cars also. its not impossible.

@kroll52 A bone stock C5 Z06 with only a supercharger typically sees 550rwhp. Start throwing in a blower cam, ported heads, headers, meth, and pullying down, and you can get over 700rwhp. In which case, say goodbye to the Camaro in your rear view mirror.
