A Public Disclosure of Wrongdoing file PSIC-2011-D-1357 March 28 2011, is on the desk of the Ethics Commissioner as of August 2011. Email sent today to Ethics Commissioner office advising of two separate examples that TVCogeco News show and Host Scott Acton failure to report local story thereby failure to viewing audience of relevant information. July 07 2011 Letter from the Interim Commissioner of Integrity notified me that their investigation has warranted the Ethics Commissioner to proceed. The Disclosure names Cogeco Cable complicit involvement in this covert commercial. Video blocked in some countries as the Producer has no regard for Copywrite. This is the edited version with credits. I shot and directed the Tony Clement interview and when it became apparent that this was not a Rotary Club promo, I then stopped the scene shoot. Scott Acton production supervisor of Cogeco Cable Huntsville was phoned on the spot by Huntsville Town and District Councillor George Young later appointed to National Tourism board by Minister Clement in 2009, after I had made up a audio problem to make sure a phone record existed that Scott Acton knew the camera was being used for a Infomercial. I then made sure that Cogeco Cable competition Bell Canada was in the second shot. I have talked to Ottawa Federal regulation agencies CBSC and CRTC about how a Cogeco camera was used for this covert For Profit video. Cogeco Cable had been given the full story September 28 2010 concerning Scott Acton and his irresponsible use of TVCogeco equipment and the Nepotism with Tony Clement with recommendation that his employment be terminated. Cogeco Cable VP responded that it was an internal matter and only interviewed Scott Acton, yet he was knowingly complicite in this and the camera went out not once, but a subsequent second time even after my telling Scott Acton of the Infomercial. October 2010 the Federal Government Integrity Commissioner who had allowed the video, was fired and paid $500,000.00 in severance. The 2011 Federal election and Tony Clement states in his campaign kickoff at The Riverside Inn that he does not apologize for making the commercial in helping local business...Reported in Muskoka Today..and MooseFM 105.5

but not TVCogeco. The result was my filing an Official Public Disclosure requesting review of video and consider the Conflict of Interest concerning Tony Clement and his appointment of George Young. George Young was defeated in his bid for re election on Huntsville Town Council October 2010, maybe based on the poorest attendance of all councillors. This is not over until the New Intergrity Commissioner says so and on July 2011 the file had completed investigation and brought to the attention of the Ethics Commissioner August 2011. I was instructed the day the CTV story came out to call a lawyer by a media friend and then advised to call the Police by Toronto lawyer Christopher Hicks stating that I had done nothing wrong but to cover myself to be safe. Placed a call with the local OPP Huntsville detachment and the officer understood my reason for calling and a uniform officer was to complete the disclosure. Virginia Hastings participation in this video and which I considered a subsequent conflict as a 2010 Film North board member including a write up on the Blog Huntsville Online "Nepotism What's it good for, absolutely nothing...huh" to do with a Board Member showing her own production video at the Algonquin Theatre during the Festival, had no effect other than a slanderous reply by Lucy Wing Film North Organizer with Hastings remaining as a 2012 advisory board member.
