The trailers were produced by king trailers by their special projects devision based in market harborough on behalf of osh kosh, Designed, developed and tested by a small team which produced 89 in total. I was lucky enough to be part of the team that produced all 89 and enjoyed every minute.

those are APC's not tanks and looks like KBR (one of the largest military/mercenary contractors) are the ones buying them they must be doing some pretty exciting things because they never talk about their military ops

@snoop3041 I see these trucks all the time as I live about 3 miles away from Bulford camp, Drive down A303 towards solstice park go through solstice through all the roundabouts over the bridge back onto A303 then slip road to bulford camp, I seen you today (1/11/2011) , great convoy to watch, might I be able to ask a question are the escort drivers reservists to or is it just the C+E drivers that are required to join part time?

@odmcarp The trailers are large because they were designed to be able to take a Challenger 2, which is considerably larger than these Warrior engineering vehicles. Challenger 2 is a few metres longer, a little taller (much taller when it's hydrogas suspension has fully risen) and is nearly twice the weight.

So in a nutshell, it's big because it's meant to carry bigger equipment than just a warrior

that trailer is a piece of shit worthless on iraq roads horizontal engineers broughtem to are bridgesites and they always fall apart same with the het its a piece of shit slow as hell i hate them 9/16 with our track hoes get their way faster
