My WS6 TA at Orlando Speed World
Could have ran better but had a hard time getting traction from the radials.

  • That's ok I run the car on the street to work everyday and it handles great and gets great traction on street pavement, yes it's bad for the track and makes it so you need to launch slow. It's not a drag car it's my work/cruising car.

  • Yes they are C6 rims 19 rear 18 front .

  • The 19inch rims are part of the reason why you're having traction issues. You might want to look into getting some smaller rims to race with, 16s maybe with some DR's. They'll have less rotational weight too which will help free up some power.

  • Thanks but not looking to make it a drag car, Mostly drive to work and like the handling.

  • you didnt get any traction cause u didnt heat up ur tires with a burnout first, and if u did a burnout, than not long enough

  • 6 speed with no line lock, did not want to mess up my brakes.

  • are those c6 wheels? they look awesome on the trans am.

  • How much were ur mods

  • @dementiamortis...... agreed you would b suprised from the power increase

  • Hey nice car. Are those Vette rimsyou have on your TA?

  • shit hes right man ur rims are huge wich in ur case is a bad thing...say goodbye to traction

  • I'm not going to read all the comments.

If you want traction get some 15 or 16 inch rims and get some slicks or drag radials and do a decent enough burnout to heat them up.

You will not burn up your brakes doing so. Since you race so little.

Like to see you do a better time than my 71 Olds that is stock next time.

  • Awesome car. Regardless of the track times I know u would pretty much mop up anything on the streets, aside from that, u pretty much got one of the best looking T/A's around. I love the 19 rear 18 front setup with the vette rims, i'm thinking about doing the same.

  • Forgot to mention my car's kinda close to stock. Powerwise so far it only has cat back exhaust and a lid/filter combo. Short throw shifter might have helped me a little bit to reduce time out of power but thats all I have so far.
