  • Thanks so very much for the great videos. I just got my first foam roller yesterday and used this video first. I had a real sore tight thigh. After using it just the once I was able to have almost perfect mobility in it and almost all soreness is gone.

I just watched your back one too and tried it. I have had issues with tight back muscles since I was in my 20's. It helped. Thanks again,

    Susie

  • these aren't myofascial release techniques; these are myo (muscle) stretching techniques - forcing the muscle to stretch has nothig to do with fascial release

true myofascial release involves a handle (fulcrum) for stability (pressure applied down and way from area worked) and a lever to go from barrier to barrier of the fascial restrictions

these are effective stretches for the muscle but not MFR in the slightest

  • Man, my quads kill when I do this. At least I know it can be worked out where as before I questioned whether I should even be foam rolling my quads because of the discomfort. Do you always recommend holding at a point of pain or rolling over it continuously?

  • good stuff as always
