@NSResponder Well Bill Monroe, THE GOD FARTHER OF BLUEGRASS, played Mandolin. Banjo is a big piece of Bluegrass you can't do with out in my opinion, but if someone must say. The Bluegrass Instrument, Then you have to say The Mandolin. Thats where it started, and with Uncle Penn and his Fiddle.
