  • @outbackproductions spot on!

  • @Bobanjudee Australians wouldnt know a plasterer if he jumped out a cupboard and bit them on the nose, all they have is Dry Lining and they call that plastering, well dry lining or australian plastering is not only crap substandard building quality, but its not even a proper trade, its a weeks course at lafarge or british gypsum, although it would be a 3 year course at a tafe, tossers

  • @Bobanjudee it all starts to make sense now, health and safety consultant, lets face it Aussies would need 3 of you to every worker, they have to do a days course to make a coffee in a cafe, called a barista, you have to wear helmets on cycles by law, ha, thats not a bad thing you say, but then they all drive 4x4s with fishing rod holders sticking out the bonnets, make me laugh, i travelled the world and have never come across such poor workmanship or such bad quality buildings as australia

  • @outbackproductions I'm Australian born and bred but married to an asian nurse, not a coal miner as such but a self employed OH&S safety consultant engaged solely in mine surface construction and infrastructure. I've held a trowel and done some cement rendering but will never be as good as you blokes and yeah, I'm no Stephen Speilburg.... but I'm bloody good at sending men home to their families after a days work, in the same condition they arrived. Do your self a favour and wear PPE.

  • @Bobanjudee so you must be 4 weeks on and 4 weeks off in the mines that gives you plenty of time looking things up on the internet, makes me laugh though someone whos never held a trowel in his hands trying to give advice on another persons trade, stay in the mines where you have your hands held all day, i just see your uploads and you dont have the strength to hold a camera for more than a couple of minutes

  • @Bobanjudee after 30 years i think i have an idea but, you are a typical asian who doesnt listen to a word spoken

look at the reply you got last time a good plasterer doesnt stand under it...

thats the difference, the education and training in trade skills is a lot higher in the uk than the asian country you left when you went to australia with your hands out,

the training you receive from the first day onwards teaches you to never stand under it

  • @outbackproductions....do you know what Calcium sulfate hemihydrate or gympsum hemihydrate aka. Plaster of paris will do to the surface of the eye if not flushed thoroughly for thirty minutes?... Naahh, you probably don't.

  • @Bobanjudee you have a point but not a valid point , next youl want him wearing a hard hat and heavy steel toe cap boots, you see its not like in the mines in Australia where you have someone hold your hand all day and most the work is done by machine ,more chiefs than indians, no this is the real world, this is where the majority of people are self employed unlike people like yourself that couldnt function unless you were told what to do and when by a boss, a good plasterer doesnt stand uder it

  • "Be the best you can be" till you can no longer see. Wear eye protection when you apply acidic chemicals overhead!!

  • @mrsparky786 Hi yes the level 1 is a good introduction course but i would say it would be best to progress onto your NVQ 2 after completion, al people are different and some people take to certain skills like ducks to water and some people dont, but if your forward thinking positive in attitude and are physically capable then theres no reason why not
