Kate, one of the keepers in the Asian Gardens department at the Zoo introduces you to our newest resident, a male Indian rhinoceros calf, born on July 13, 2011. The Indian rhino birth is the second for the Zoo in two years, and a significant conservation milestone for the species with fewer than 60 animals in the managed population.
