    Crooks run councils these days.

The purpose behind such an agenda is to start them off at such a small amount, they hope that people won't mind or object to. Then, by stealth you keep raising the annual amount by more than the cost of inflation - but small enough for most people not to object.

Over time you create a massive income from the dim public (or so they believe).

I do hope these people keep up the pressure and refuse to pay.

  • AT 1;42 ,, Listen to rev the fierblade> waoo

  • What will there be next... A pram or pushchair tax... a, the camera saw you standing still for too long congestion tax... or maybe an 'Oy mush who are you looking at, yes you, tax!? Hey folks I'd like to hear of some more retarded left brain civil service tax ideas, if you have any?

  • couldn't make it this time, but will be there on september, and hopefully with new bike!

  • Have to ask - is that Curly Watts off Corrie at 0.48 on the video??!!!!

  • Seems to me the £1 charge is just so the council can fine people for not paying it, why else would it be so little. The real problem is £60 fine generated if you forget to pay it, and the bike bays that close while your in them again charging you £60 and the bus lanes that go from "ride in me" to "keep out" and again charge you £60...this year i gave the council about £30 in charges and £600 in fines from mistakes due to confusing rules...
