The MBA students inside the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business take an annual journey to the largest city of the Pacific Northwest, Seattle. While in the heart of the city for three days, the students visit entrepreneurs and innovators inside of startups, Fortune 100's, and everything in between.
The most unique part of the trip is that it is completely organized by the students. They pick everything from the companies to visit with, the hotel to stay at, and the snacks they get for the five hour drive up the interstate. Some decisions are tougher than others.

I loved the opportunities to visit companies and hear what business leaders had to say. I met with executives at Kettle Foods in Salem, Nike in Beaverton, and even some small Eugene business owners. People love to take time out of their day to speak to students in an educational setting. I don't feel like its nearly as simple as making a phone call or sending an email once you actually start asking about employment opportunities. Sounds like the MBA group had an awesome time.
