An 8 minute synopsis of the first of six workshops on "Understanding the German Way", hosted by the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce and presented by Höferle Consulting (March/April 2010).
This is the only video I have seen of this series. My lineage is primarily German and the work ethic is very important in my family. I think the German's work ethic is the driving force of their economy.
I actually thought this video would be a joke when I saw it as a recommended video, but I'm glad I did see it. So although this wasn't a joke, I'll leave you with one: You can always tell a German, but you can't tell him much! (It sounds like my dad!)
As I understand, in Indiana, we shouldn't pass cars which are on our left. The left lanes are the passing lanes. They also can't make rude hand gestures to other drivers as it is distracting. Very smart!
Germany's labor laws are more in favor of the worker. I don't know the exact percentages there, but the difference in pay between workers and high ranking company officials is in greater contrast here.
