One of the finest songs of 1990. Couldn't believe it wasn't available on here so, with apologies for the hastily dragged up video, here it is. Van the Man and Paul Durcan collaborating on a magnificent paen to the beginnings of what we all take for granted today.
Needless to say, I don't own this. It's from Van Morrison's 'Enlightenment' album which, no doubt, can (and should) be bought at all good music sellers.

  • WE LET THE GOLDFISH GO.

  • I remember driving through/over the Scottish highlands on a beautiful day in my old Volvo P18 with this on repeat. And the thought off "wouldn`t it be great if it was like this all of the time" in my head. Tremendous memories.

  • Them pesky wireless knobs! Can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em...

  • I've just bought Enlightenment and hadn't heard this song previously, I am intrigued by it. Does anyone know who the Justin might be to whom Van refers?

  • I am so thankful that someone made the effort to post this. I've had a bad couple of days at work and to get to come home and listen to this magnificent song and to know many others appreciate it so much too is keeping me in good thoughts and not bad. Great big thanks and great big greetings to all you real music lovers out there.
